Stress relief through movement and breath
Cedilo Maruth is an online masterclass platform dedicated to yoga for stress relief — built for people who want to learn at their own pace, in their own space, from instructors who actually practise what they teach.
Established 2024 / Northampton, United KingdomWhere the idea came from
Every technique on this platform has been practised for a minimum of 3 years before it was filmed.
Cedilo Maruth started because the founders noticed a specific gap: most online yoga content either treats beginners as complete novices or assumes a level of physical flexibility that most working adults simply do not have.
The platform was designed around a different premise. Stress relief through yoga is not about achieving a perfect posture — it is about understanding why certain breathing patterns and movement sequences shift the nervous system out of a heightened state. Each masterclass explains the mechanism, not just the motion.
All content is filmed in short, focused segments. The longest single module runs 38 minutes. This was a deliberate decision based on feedback from early participants who found that longer sessions were difficult to complete consistently during a working week.
The platform is built for remote learners. You do not need a studio, specialist equipment, or a fixed schedule. What you do need is a quiet space and a willingness to repeat techniques until they feel natural — which, for most people, takes between 8 and 12 sessions.
How a programme actually works
Four stages, each with a clear purpose — no filler, no padding between modules.
Assessment of your starting point
A short intake questionnaire identifies your stress patterns, physical range, and available time per week. This takes approximately 7 minutes and directly shapes which module sequence is recommended to you.
Structured module sequence
Modules are grouped into 3-week blocks. Each block builds on the previous one — the breathing work in week 1 is referenced and extended in week 2, so nothing is taught in isolation.
Repetition with variation
Core techniques appear across multiple modules at different intensities. This is intentional — the platform is designed so that participants encounter the same posture sequence in 4 different contexts before the programme ends.
Consolidation and independent practice
The final block of each programme is designed for independent use. By this point, participants have enough understanding of the underlying principles to adapt the techniques to their own daily routine without needing to follow a video.
The people behind the content
Each instructor on the platform brings a different background — some come from physiotherapy, some from traditional yoga lineages, some from sports coaching. What they share is a focus on explaining rather than just demonstrating.
Petra Vanhoof
12 years teaching yoga with a focus on the parasympathetic nervous system. Developed 6 of the platform's core modules on breath-led movement.
Tomáš Řehák
Former physiotherapist, now specialising in breathwork for stress and anxiety management.
Amara Osei
Specialises in restorative and yin yoga, with particular focus on techniques accessible to people with limited mobility.
All content filmed in the UK
Every module is filmed at a fixed studio in Northampton. Lighting, sound, and camera angles are consistent across all 14 modules so participants are not distracted by production changes between sessions.
Subtitles and written guides included
Every video has full English subtitles. Each module also comes with a written technique guide — a PDF that participants can print and keep beside their mat without needing a screen.
Accessible on any device
The platform runs in-browser without requiring any app installation. Before you sign up, check the technical requirements to confirm your setup is compatible.
Group practice context
Some modules include reference footage from live group sessions, showing how the techniques scale from solo practice to group settings.
"I had tried yoga videos before but always stopped after a week. The difference here was that someone actually explained what the breathing was doing to my body. That context made it stick."
