Stress
has a shape

Most people carry tension for years without recognising its pattern. These masterclasses teach you to read that pattern — through breath, posture, and movement — and give you practical tools to change it.

What the numbers actually reflect

8
Weeks is the minimum time most practitioners need before they notice consistent change in their resting stress response — not a shortcut, but a realistic window.
14
Distinct techniques covered across the full programme — from diaphragmatic breathing to restorative floor sequences designed specifically for nervous system regulation.
Sessions per week is the rhythm that most participants find sustainable. More than that tends to create pressure; less than that slows the learning curve considerably.

What stays with you after the last session

01Skills that are built through the body are retained differently than information read from a screen. A posture you have held 40 times becomes automatic in a way that a concept you have read about never quite does.

02The nervous system changes slowly and reliably. Participants who complete the full 8-week sequence typically describe a shift in how quickly they recover from difficult moments — not the absence of stress, but a shorter return to baseline.

03Every technique in this programme is designed to be practised alone, at home, with no equipment. That independence is intentional — the goal is a practice you own, not one that depends on a studio schedule or an instructor being available.

04You will leave with 14 documented techniques, a clear understanding of when each one is most useful, and enough body awareness to adapt them as your needs change over time.

How the experience unfolds across 8 weeks

1

Weeks 1–2: Orientation

The first two weeks feel slower than you might expect. You are learning to notice — breath rhythm, where tension sits, which cues your body already responds to. Most participants describe this phase as surprisingly unfamiliar.

2

Weeks 3–4: Foundation

By week 3, patterns begin to emerge. You start recognising the difference between muscular tension and nervous tension — a distinction that makes the next techniques considerably more effective when introduced.

3

Weeks 5–6: Integration

This is where the techniques start connecting. A breath pattern learned in week 2 begins to support a floor sequence introduced in week 5. The programme is designed so that earlier material becomes more useful, not less, as you progress.

4

Weeks 7–8: Consolidation

The final two weeks are about making the practice yours. Sessions focus on identifying which 4 or 5 techniques from the full 14 will form the core of your ongoing routine — chosen based on what your body has actually responded to.

What sets this apart

Specific to stress — not adapted from general yoga

Most yoga content is built around physical fitness or flexibility. This programme was developed from a different starting point: the question of what the nervous system actually needs to shift from a state of chronic activation toward something more stable.

Nervous system first

Every sequence is sequenced to move the body from sympathetic activation toward parasympathetic recovery. The order of postures is not aesthetic — it follows a physiological logic.

Built for a living room, not a studio

No props beyond a mat. No mirrors. No ambient music required. The techniques work in ordinary domestic environments because that is where stress actually lives.

Adaptable by design

Each technique includes 3 documented variations — lighter, standard, and deeper — so the same session works whether you have 12 minutes or 45.

Who this is likely to work for

This programme asks something specific of the people who join it. Not prior experience — complete beginners do well here — but a particular kind of willingness. The conditions below are not requirements, but they are honest indicators of fit.

You are comfortable with slow progress. The first 2 weeks rarely produce dramatic change, and people who need early visible results tend to disengage before the programme reaches its most effective phase.

You have a quiet space at home where you can practise without interruption for 30–45 minutes, at least 3 times per week. The environment matters more than most people expect.

You are interested in understanding why a technique works, not just following instructions. The explanatory content in each module is substantial — participants who engage with it progress more quickly.

You are managing stress that is chronic and low-level rather than acute. This programme is not a crisis intervention — it is a long-term recalibration tool.

A note on physical ability

None of the 14 techniques in this programme require flexibility, strength, or prior yoga experience. The physical demands are deliberately minimal — the work is primarily attentional, not athletic. People with limited mobility have completed the full programme successfully.

Format and access

All sessions are delivered as on-demand video with accompanying written guides. There are no live sessions and no fixed schedule. You move through the 8 weeks at a pace that fits your life — though most participants find that maintaining the 3-sessions-per-week rhythm produces noticeably better results than an irregular approach.

What a completed practice actually looks like

After 8 weeks, the question shifts from "what should I do today" to "what does my body need right now." That shift is the point.

A breath practice that is genuinely yours

By the end of the programme, most participants have identified 2 or 3 breathing techniques that work reliably for them — not in theory, but in the specific moments when stress peaks. That specificity is something a general course cannot give you.

Sleep that reflects the work

Participants frequently report changes in sleep quality before they notice changes in daytime stress levels. The evening sequences in weeks 4 through 6 are designed specifically around the physiological conditions that precede sleep — not relaxation in a general sense, but the specific shift the body needs.

Recovery speed, not stress elimination

The honest goal of this programme is not a life without stress. It is a shorter gap between a stressful event and a return to equilibrium — measured in minutes rather than hours. That is a realistic outcome, and it compounds over time in ways that are genuinely significant.
